Editorial standards and corrections

How Jepeta checks claims, distinguishes original research from source reviews and handles corrections.

Who publishes this material?

Jepeta is the editorial publisher of the independent early-stage crypto security and research project at jepeta.dev. Jepeta accepts responsibility for the public content. A named individual, qualification, product tester or external approval is not implied unless the specific page provides verifiable details. For inquiries, email my@jepeta.dev or see Contact.

How we use AI and automation

AI-assisted tools may help research, structure, draft and edit Jepeta articles. Live Intelligence uses deterministic rendering of dated evidence; it does not generate new risk scores. Automation improves coverage, but natural prose alone does not prove accuracy or originality. We do not present simulated tests, invented interviews, personal experience or vendor announcements as independent findings.

Historical content: materials published before the current editorial integrity gate may remain available without completed independent re-review. They are preserved, not retrospectively certified. A new release requires evidence-bound approval; an uncompleted review is a HOLD, not a PASS.

Our types of contribution

Jepeta research may aggregate observations collected by the Jepeta risk system and should show the cohort, dates, method, denominators and limitations. These samples do not represent every token on Base. Live Intelligence documents before/after changes for exact contracts with canonical scores, provenance and timestamps. A changing Jepeta risk score describes a change in its screening result; it does not prove fraud or real-world misconduct.

Source audits, guides and affiliate articles interpret documented product functionality and practical decisions. These may be useful original explanations, but a comparison of vendor documentation is not a hands-on review or original field investigation. We distinguish the added interpretation from underlying supplier facts.

Fact checks, independence and uncertainty

Material statements should be linked to inspectable evidence with the date checked, any relevant observation time, limits and conflicts. Primary documents and reproducible first-party calculations take priority where applicable. If required sources are missing, stale or contradictory, publication is held instead of inventing certainty. The existing canonical risk engine owns risk calculations; editorial work cannot change or infer its scores.

A publication has separate automatic source verification and independent editorial review states. The public Intelligence discovery RSS may contain automated observations; the separate reviewed publisher RSS contains only material items with a verified editorial approval. An empty reviewed feed means release approval is not yet complete.

Editorial decisions

PASS requires factual support and a specific useful contribution. REVISE means a correctable style or clarity problem remains. HOLD means an unresolved claim, provenance, originality check, disclosure or legal concern prevents publication. An automated test or old citability score cannot replace a real source audit. Old publications are not silently upgraded to PASS.

Affiliate relationships and advertising

Some pages include disclosed affiliate links. Jepeta may earn a commission or reward if a reader chooses a provider. This does not validate the provider or establish that we used or tested its service. Relevant links carry sponsored attributes. Eligible content may also display ads subject to consent; scanner results and source evidence areas are protected from ad placement. See Privacy and Terms.

Corrections and withdrawals

To report an error, provide the exact page URL, disputed wording or data point, supporting source and suggested correction. Email my@jepeta.dev or contact Jepeta_bot with /support and state that the issue concerns editorial accuracy. Do not place private keys, payment information or personal details in public channels.

We assess corrections against dated evidence. Supported material corrections should be published with update context or as a linked clarification. Immutable historical observations remain identifiable. Misleading content may be withheld or withdrawn; a request alone does not establish an error. We do not promise an unverified response deadline.

Reuse and publisher submissions

RSS is a discovery mechanism, not a blanket licence for full-text republication or copying source-provider material. Publishers can cite the canonical URL and request a separate agreement for broader reuse. External listing does not imply endorsement. See Publisher information, Methodology and the risk disclaimer.
